The Maryland Black Bear Association was founded out of a deep love for wildlife and a vision to bridge the gap between people and nature. From my early days exploring the forests of Maryland, I realized how vital it is to educate our community about the black bear population in our region. With years of experience in wildlife research and community engagement, we have cultivated a wealth of knowledge that we are eager to share. Our nonprofit organization thrives on the dedication of passionate volunteers and experts who believe that by educating others, we can foster a sense of stewardship for our natural surroundings.
